Nate Marquardt Feels Georges St. Pierre Would Destroy Jake Shields
Nate Marquardt who is a training partner of UFC Welterweight Champ Georges St. Pierre talked this week about his a potential title challenger down the road for the Champ in Jake Shields and where he feels Shields stands in the 170lb. picture and how he'd fair against the St. Pierre:<br><br>
"It's hard to say. I think he definitely would be good at middleweight but I thought he looked bad at 170. Part of it was the weight cut, but part of it is his style as well, and I think a lot of people underestimate Kampmann -- he's a tough, well-rounded fighter. I don't think he's the best but he's good at everything. Shields is kind of the opposite -- not good at some things but really good or the best at other things. I think putting Shields against a well-rounded opponent was bad for him against Kampmann and worse against Georges. I think Georges is going to destroy him."<br><br>

Junior Dos Santos OK With Underdog Slot Against Cain Velasquez
As a patiently waiting Junior Dos Santos waits for confirmation from the UFC that he will indeed be Cain Velasquez' first UFC Heavyweight title challenger, he talks about his thoughts on the match up with Brasil Combate:<Br><br>
?I hope they [UFC] confirms soon, I?m anxious. I can?t promise much but I?m going to work to knock Velasquez out. Wrestling is the key of the combat. Cain won?t wish to equal abilities, he will try to take me down and throw punches on the ground, then it?s good to get the timing and take advantage of it. Velasquez was never defeated. I will be the underdog for this challenge and I feel good so. It was this way I arrived where I am in UFC. A well-done basical preparation always provides good surprises. This is the biggest trump I have got. I believe in my boxing overall. Even being prepared in other aspects, I would lie if I told you that I don?t think in fighting on the feet. His win over Brock Lesnar was a solid prove that force isn?t all. If we analize the fighters who have arisen in the latest years and the fight?s level, I think we have the ideal balance between power and technique at last. The championship rotation is going to be huge. It?s a new era for the category and I will be on the top.?

Being with him on the Ultimate Fighter for eight weeks was a way for me to know him a little bit better as a person and as a fighter.... I knew how he was before I got there. I think he was like that to get inside my head, and to keep the fans entertained. I don?t think he?s a bad person. In a way, I think that?s his way to motivate himself. He likes to be the bad guy.... Urijah Faber Excited For Move To The UFC
Former Featherweight Kingpin Urijah Faber may not be at the top of the totem pole like he used to be but that doesn't mean he won't be one of the top featured fighters coming over to the UFC in the WEC/UFC merger and the "California Kid" talked about the move and gave his thoughts on his new home:<Br><Br>

Scott Coker "Feels Good" About On Going Negotiations With Fedor Camp
With Fedor on the last fight of his current Strikeforce contract, the two sides have come to the table to discuss a future past the next fight and according to President Scott Coker, things sound like they are going well:<Br><br>
"As everybody knows we have a negotiation ongoing with M-1 right now, and I wish I had a simple answer, but it's an ongoing negotiation. I feel good about it, I feel good about the negotiations. Whether you're dealing with Dream, or you're dealing with M-1, or any foreign company there's always a translation issue, and there's always a cultural issue, and there's just a lot of barriers that will come. We're trying to navigate through the waters and get a fair deal for everybody."
